Built
in two phases in the mid 1990s, the original site-built campus cost just
over $10 million which was significantly less than comparable middle schools
in Contra Costa County and the surrounding communities.
In designing the permanent modular additions, Alan Judson and Associates
Architects sought to respect the existing circulation patterns between
the school and fields, and make the additions easily accessible to all
by means of numerous stairs and ramps.
