It is not uncommon that, during the life span of a building, a client wishes to have a property evaluated for suitability for remodeling, addition, or purchase. A full assessment of a facility can and should include the structure, roof, exterior, finish, hardware, signal system, HVAC system, building code compliance, lighting and energy efficiency. Most evaluations are presented in a written narrative form with a discussion of the major elements, noting any recommended maintenance issues, upgrades, or building code issues.
